Progress: Mr. Hess
The older I get the more I realize that I’ve made a habit of becoming a “Renaissance Man” or a ‘Jack of all Trades, Master of None”. When I do start something I go full-hearted and sometimes the cost makes it fool-hearted, but none the less, I go 100% all out! That is until it gets too easy or boring then I’m off to the next endeavor.
The one thing I could think of that would never get easier and hard to master is IRON in the strength and conditioning world. Add being a new father, I wanted to get huge like the idols I grew up seeing, like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Frank Zane or Bill Pearl to name a few. Something about having kids has lit a fire under me to get BIG.
In the past two years I’ve been up and down in weight but now I’ve gained 30lb of mass and still keep my body fat around 8%, all while keeping up my cardio to cycle centuries or even the occasional “mud run”
These are my Trial and Errors to learn from on my quest for size…
